A Christmas Dinner Inspired by Julia Child

Posted on: Sunday, December 23, 2012

To celebrate Christmas with loved ones, we decided to continue our “Girl’s Night” tradition by dividing the meal and each selecting a recipe to follow exactly. To add a bit of sophistication to the dinner, we sought Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking as the sole source for each dish. Following the steps verbatim proved to be a challenge but was both entertaining and fun. We have a newfound appreciation for the thought, careful attention to detail, and refinement that Julia put into her recipes. Each committing to our dish, we think Julia would have been pleased.
