We share a birthday, may as well share a sundae! Every year to celebrate our twinship, we treat ourselves to our absolute favorite indulgence, an ice cream sundae. The tradition dates back to our tenth birthday when our mom converted our house into a 50’s diner. The two of us, outfitted as 50’s waitresses served homemade grilled cheeses and ice cream treats to our poodle skirt clad guests. For the past couple of years, we have continued the quirky tradition at a quintessential old-fashioned ice cream parlor, Cabot Ice Cream in Newton. There's nothing better than a dressed up bowl of ice cream overflowing with hot fudge, peanut butter sauce, whipped cream and of course two cherries on top!
